VIDES Veneto offers the opportunity to have an experience of volunteering with immigrants and refugees from all over the world.

It is a vantage point that helps to understand one another and build the foundation for a more humane society.

It is an opportunity to invest in their people, increase knowledge and skills … through volunteer activities and training programs offered by the Association for free.

Social volunteering Education VIDES

I RUNS THROUGH SOUTH
organized by VIDES International in collaboration with VIDES VENETO
• Training is mandatory for people who plan to experience international volunteer on a mission FMA in the world.
• The training is also open to people who want to deepen the topics and / or who they are considering the idea of starting as volunteers.
• Training is free for all.
The training is meant because the volunteers are prepared, accompanied and supported before, during and after the trip, and because this experience is positive and enriching experience both for themselves and for the host mission. To facilitate this positive meeting and to develop their inter-relational skills is recommended to the departing volunteers to experiment in social integration activities with migrants to Vides Veneto.
The program is structured as follows:
– Formation meetings in the Volunteer Social
– Training Weekend organized by VIDES International
Expecting conferences on particular topics, and group reflections, listening to testimonies, practical workshops, exercises for the acquisition of knowledge and skills specifications.
General topics : Preventive System of Don Bosco / Human Rights and SP / Educational Communication in the context Intercultural / Human Rights Education / Rights of the Child: a focus on the right to education and the right to play / Motivation and some elements of human development free volunteer service and solidary / Conditions and tools for a volunteer in the FMA communities / first aid items
